(Yes, these are still held in many parts of the country).

"Barefoot Gospel" plays that old-timey, southern Gospel, big tent revival, joyous music that God inspired in goodly quantities during the massive evangelical and spiritual revivals of the early 20th century.

Whatever your event, wherever it is - we will help you make it seem like a homey, friendly, small-town get-together.

"Barefoot Gospel" is a core of four musicians who have led, played and sung songs from almost every era of Christian and worship music for more years than we care to mention. We've played everything from the old hymnbook hymns to the latest Top-40 Christian radio hits. But in our hearts, our joy in worshipping and serving God really shines with the good-time and heartfelt songs of this era.

Although we are basically four, we have some other musician friends who may join us on some occasions. We rarely add a drummer with a full set, so we can adjust our volume from background music to concert levels.

Songs by these early progenitors of Christian "pop" music, slightly revisited spirituals, a handful of timely hymns, and one or two surprises make up our repertoire.
